First day at dad's place(Edited)

"We're here." My dad said.

Yes, my dad, I am actually with my dad right now.

I looked out the window to see a big school that weirdly looked like a church. It was an old victorian building that looked kind of haunted.

Yikes. Gives me kind of shivering in the pit of my stomach.

He parked the car outside the school near the main gate. I was about to open the door when Dad was ahead of me and ran towards my door to open it for me.

Wow, if you going to please me, you have to do better than that. He carried my suitcase and my bag.

"You don't need to carry my stuff, I can manage my belongings very well," I said in a mocking tone.

"I want to." He said with a hint of guilt in his eyes and he seemed to be struggling.

We went upstairs. After climbing a lot of stairs, I noticed that Dad was flushed. Might be due to tiredness and age. Oh well, who cares..did he even care about us these many years?

"So these are the classrooms." He said.

He pointed to a set of old desks. Not a lot of decorations. They might need a girl's touch.

We climbed upstairs, ugh how many more steps are there!?

He showed me the gym class, the science labs, the offices, basketball indoor stadium, lounge room, cafeteria, indoor games room which was filled with video games, a pool table, chess, carom, ping pong, air hockey, and many more.

Finally, we reached at the end of the corridor, there was a door that said 'Boy's dorm.' But he just warned me not to go in there. Like I would obey him huh.

And at last, we reached a room that looked like an apartment. It had sofas, TVs, books, and a dining room.

"So this is where I live. And you'll be staying here. Your room is in there." He said while placing my luggage near the sofa.

I looked inside the door he pointed at. It was a nice and cozy room.

There was a pink bed with a plushie caramel-colored teddy bear. Pink curtains with baby pink color cupboards, even the wardrobe was of baby pink color! Basically, most of the things in the room were pink. Seriously...why is it like every girl in this world would prefer only 'pink' color? People need to change their mindset as soon as possible! Hmph!

Sometimes I think that Christopher Bailey is the only guy who has fashion sense. And this could be why. But it was a great try, I appreciate the gratitude of decorating the room especially for me.

"Do you like it? I mean, I didn't know what kind of girl you were and what were your preferences so I-" he was going on but he stopped when he noticed that...

I was yawning.

And it wasn't my purpose.

Well, Kind of.

"Sorry, I'm just babbling on. You should get some rest. You have to wake up early as you have school tomorrow."

"What!? I just came. Shouldn't I get settled in first." I said collapsing on the bed.

"Tomorrow's opening day and everyone is coming. It'll be great for you to meet the teachers." He said.

"And the students," I added with a smug smirk towards him.

"Yeah, you don't need to talk to them. They will mind their own business."He said.

"Well, your uniform is in the cupboard and get settled in and.. erm.. get some rest. I'll see you in the morning at 6." He was about to go when I took in what he said.

"Wait! What!? 6!? I can't wake up at 6!" I said angrily.

"Sorry, It's the opening day as I said and I will have to get up early so that we could prepare everything." He said.

"Fine. Whatever." I said. I slid into my duvet.

"Shouldn't you change into something more comfortable, Cerina?" he asked with a concerned look on his face which I was really getting irritated with.

"Nope. I'm tired. Turn the lights off when you go out. Thanks. And it's CeCe." I said before closing my eyes to go to sleep...I don't like it when people call me Cerina, my full name if they don't even care about me. 'Cerina' is whole-heartedly reserved for my close ones..and to my disappointment..no one is that close to me yet.

I couldn't see him but I knew he was angry. I guess he was a strict Headmaster and I was going to be a challenge. No wait, I AM going to be a challenge. Daddy, your in for it.

Isn't it weird? People prefer to be called by nickname by their close ones but here this silly girl has reserved her full name for the close ones Lmao.
