Chapter Ten

Mason had decided to stay over and have like a little sleepover with Summer which was cute and all but it made me angry, I wanted one Mason-free day just one where I didn't have to see his stupid face around the house or the stupid smirk he did when he successfully annoyed me, or...

"You are gonna over salt the popcorn by doing that" the voice that belonged to none other than the man himself shook me out of my anger and mental rant back onto the now somewhat overly salty popcorn for movie night.

"It should be fine, Summer will fall asleep in the first 10 minutes of the film and then you'll follow after" I stated not thinking about the fact that the statement might come off as if I watch them sleep.

"Let's get to this movie shall we," he said as we spoke no more words and both walked to the living room one holding the buttered popcorn and the other holding the sweet and salty popcorn.

Summer's pick for movie night was High School Musical, you know the one where Sharpay's dad owns a summer business or something and she pines over Troy, which ultimately leaves Gabriella with no choice but to go her own way. That one, I don't know what instalment that is. 1,2 or 3

As I suspected Summer was out for the count in just under 10 minutes so I moved my very comfy position on the couch and put a blanket over her, bless her though she was laying on the single chair in the living room, even though it was a chair it was the comfiest one I'd ever seen, like a bean bag chair but fluffier. the perks of being rich huh?

"You wanna watch something different?" Mason asked as I snapped my eyes in his directions with a look of utter shock "and miss the part where Gabriella tells troy she has to leave and they have the most iconic duet of the entire franchise...no!" he let out a little chuckle at my comment and nodded his head "I am sorry I even asked, how rude of me" he added as I went back to my spot and got all cosy for the best part of the movie to come up.

The scene left for the morning was this, popcorn scattered all over the floor, because even though we had eaten a lot of the popcorn we hadn't eaten enough for it not to cause a mess to the floor.

I woke up to my phone blowing up, usually, this is because I like to set timers for when my phone goes on do not disturb and when it should come off of that setting, usually, I was wake before but I guess the day before combined with the movie had me exhausted to the point I woke up after the change.

I felt around for my phone not wanting to move from the comfy position I was in, but no phone was being felt and by the senses of my hands that I was feeling I wasn't sleeping on no sofa either.

"You enjoying yourself?" I very rough yet so attractive morning voice spoke just about audible as I looked up and was met with masons barely open eyes, crap! Somehow in the course of the evening Mason and I had ended up on the same couch one under the other cuddling, I mean this is completely explainable, he did in fact move to my sofa in the events of watching the movie last night as he was showing me clips from some of the boys goofing around to some of the HSM songs.

But how he got under me is a new part of that evening, I don't remember how that even happened, I am pretty sure he tapped out before me so how I didn't stop this from happening is beyond me.

"How did I end up here exactly" with that I shot up and off of him right to the other side of the couch making sure that my clothes were all straight and on me, no skin showing off in sight. Not today satan!

I scanned the room and Summer was nowhere to be seen, which isn't the greatest, Mason caught wind of what I was doing and sat up from the couch "she probably took herself to sleep in her bed, it's way comfier than the chair" he chuckled as I rolled my eyes, good shout but just to be on the safe side I checked. Yup, all clear.

Saturday, now I know that Mason actually has things to do today, I think he has a photoshoot and an interview if I remember rightly, which means a successfully full day without the man, the myth, the legend, I also had time to reply to Thor as I had left him on delivered for a whole night which isn't good in anyone's books.

As the morning turned into the early afternoon Summer and I was sitting on the island playing noughts and crosses while Mason got himself ready for the day ahead, " I was wondering maybe you guys could come along with me, it should be a short day for me as I've only got the photoshoot and the interview and then I am free so we could always do something after maybe? if you didn't already have anything planned" He asked as I look at Summer who was already bouncing in her seat at the chance to spend a whole day with her uncle. FFS!!

I agreed that we could tag along and Summer left no space to even speak, she darted upstairs and into her room where all we heard from downstairs was crashing and banging around oh and the occasional squeal of excitement.

"You sure know how to win the ladies over," I said with an unimpressed look on my face as Mason shrugged "not all of them apparently," he said barely audible, I chose to ignore the comment and get myself ready for whatever kind of waiting we are going to be doing for the day.
