Bai Ning Bing's poem as he was at death's doorstep sent shivers down my spine. It really hit me in a profound way...

When the righteous cultivators are the cause for most demonic cultivators. That is why so many are hypocrites they like to have a strength based system but detests those who try to break away so they can grow stronger. They push down lower talents and mortals then get upset that they choose the only path left which is the demonic path rather than continuing being suppressed till dying pointlessly or a unfulfilled life. Maybe if the righteous cultivators helped others to rise they could have some moral high ground but in the end they just like control and to fill their ego on how they are good while the rest are evil. I mean the demonic path does some bad stuff obviously but it is a strength based world so you can hardly call that a crime here unless they want to change the system which they won’t. Plus this crow guy is a perfect example of one of the “good guys” as killing everyone even in the other tribes because of a conflict with one guy on the mountain even draining blood from two kids for years till killing them. This is what I love about this world though as it will be fun to watch the mc piss them all off and kill them along his path to become stronger.
