Adding on to this, to make it smoother if it showed her thoughts like, how dare he insult my niece or something to show the reason for the action it would feel more in place and less random. At least that is how I am reading it.

May just be me but this feels random or just not explained well on why it is suddenly happening as I don’t see any lead up. Is she wanting to hit him cause he hurt Isabella or what. I have been noticing it feels like it skips the beginning of an interaction at times making me confused on how I got to this point or the motive behind the action.

The novel is okay in my opinion the story isn’t either good nor bad and more along the lines of wanting to see how far the mc progresses as a monster as he evolves. The translation is fine but the further in I got it worse in some parts which becomes annoying. Like when talking about the U.S. President it doesn’t describe them as such when speaking most the time or the people on that side, the black president said this or the black high ranking officials faces didn’t look good(saying they belong to the U.S. side). Another example is the United States of Huxia (combination of two countries). Names mix up, the list goes on but it can get confusing and mostly annoying while reading. I read this mostly cause of the similarities to World Devouring Serpent (which isn’t perfect but did well on the evolution aspect and mindset of the mc for the majority) but this one is like a worse version of that in almost every aspect in my opinion. TLDR: Good to waste time but translation quality subpar and the only thing going for it is a pure monster mc.

A better leader would know when to admit when they are wrong even if it is embarrassing rather than be bull headed and continue on a fools errand. It’s like if he said he would kill a god obviously it is not possible at this point so he would need to reflect on himself and admit he was too rash in his thinking rather than stay true to his word and die which helps no one. The staying true to your word is good but just like anything needs to be used reasonably otherwise it becomes something else like having a big ego, turning the positive point of the saying into a negative one. But lets see how this goes.

After hearing how it is just two different species having a kid like a human and elf it feels like it isn’t a huge deal to need to find out what other species his mom or dad is. Though probably will play into his power by how it is making a big deal to find out as I doubt it will be oh your mom was a dwarf mystery solved.
