Well, I finally finished reading the novel and I have to say that I liked a lot how the story was concluded. The author gave closure to the core matters (sky-sea realm, God, Dream World, the agreement and the promise, etc), and the things left opened might lead to a sequel later. In some ways it felt like a closed ending, but then again there are enough things left opened to justify a potential sequel. Perhaps since I heard all the bad reviews from the people who read the ending via lnmtl my expectations were low. I was expecting a terrible finale, filled of loose ends, plotholes, and without addressing the promise and the agreement, but again, I have to say I am pretty much satisfied with what I got. Would I have wanted more? Of course, I always said this story had fuel for 1k more chapters, but this finale was good enough too, it could have been a lot worse, trust me. A lot of chinese novels have real dreadful endings... Fortunately, this was not the case

For those complaining that there are still many questions not answered please realize that this story will never end if it try to go any deeper. Just admitt it y'all just don't want the story to end. One of the most memorable ending I have ever read.

Loved this story and even if I wish there would have been a few closure chapters on some of the characters I am still satisfied with this ending. From a prince in a backwater territory to a king and defeating one enemy to face the true one and actually reaching godhood and staying together with both female companions. Good job author👍 if you have another story or one in progress please do tell,I would love to read it

Really the last few lines made the difference between a good ending and a great ending for me. Sure there are plenty of plot lines that never saw their end, but as least we have our happy with the three of them.
