Trash. The moment you get past trial chapters, the quality drops to garbage. It's clearly edited mtl, and not carefully edited. Do NOT waste money on this. Characterization and world background are quite lacking, while plot is quite ordinary.

The poor guy seems to have somehow gotten too close to the moon, where a GOO pillar of all things apparently dominates. Fors going anywhere near the moon is definitely suicide, agreed.

Consider rereading Book 1, you're a bit hazy on details. Door angel ritual doesn't involve directly clashing against GOOs, and again, this is Klein's expectation. As a half lord of mysteries, his thoughts and intuition are pretty much prophetic. He expected her to need his help to become an angel before he could wake up.

Klein's helping. Check last tarot meeting in Book 1. He expected her to become an angel before he woke up, and used a promise so he could help more with the advancement while sleeping.

No need to meet. Knowledge alone will cause corruption, as Fors nicely said. Demigods will be at risk just knowing the identity of some outer deity. Reread later bits of Lotm if you want more info.

Only angels can endure the corruptive knowledge of outer gods. Klein didn't dare leak a word back when Tarot Club had demigods at best.

It can't be called bad, but also can't be called good. There just isn't any kind of truly compelling plot beyond the rather dark setting. Just look at the sloppy chapter titles and the translator's attitude can be seen.
