Oh boy.... is this one of those troupes where the author makes the MC unable to kill directly, so the author can make up some bs reason for the person to survive offscreen and create drama later? I can respect the author making the mc struggle with his first kill being a direct kill, but I really hope we won't be seeing Lex again.
I have to say that this author is brave to kill Lex Luthor and leave the body intact. I would think ten times about the way i would kill him, i would first study his character and personality. He would find out what would make him make the decision to kill his brothers and then temporarily avoid doing so. Lex thought about killing him because he stood out as a genius, he wouldn't think about killing them if he hadn't stood out, at least not now. After staying temporarily silent, i would look for a way, mainly through gacha, to kill Lex without letting the 'cause and effect' connect to him and make sure that both Lex Luthor's soul and body were gone at once for all. ■NOTE: He went to the place, with his nanosuit in stealth mode, with a wand in his hand that was taken to use confusion magic on the target several times as the place caught fire and Lex slowly died. ● There are a few problems here as i see it; ▪︎ The first was that he had to go to the location. ▪︎ The second he used magic and in these cases there will always be residues of magical energy. ▪︎ The third is that the chance of this type of accident happening is so low that it is almost zero. ▪︎ The fourth is that the body was left intact and in this kind of world, that would be really bad, after all, there are always ways to bring it back. ▪︎ The fifth is that it is impossible to hide the truth from advanced magic users, gods or other beings who possess time-related 'investigative' powers, such as temporarily going back in time through their consciousness to glimpse the truths of what happened or something like that. ▪︎ The sixth is that he may not be able to hide the truth through microexpression or something like that, when and if he is interrogated. ▪︎ The seventh is that he left his secretary alive as well and this would be problematic in the subsequent acquisition of the company by him as the next of kin. ▪︎ The eight was that the secretary who hired the killers, i don't think she's going to stop them from continuing the murder and he's the one who's going to have to solve it. Anyway, i remember that Murasame and all the other teigus were created from the bodies of beasts from the world of Akame Ga Kill, so in theory, the poison is biological and not magical. Although the poison does indeed have magical effects and is very overbearing. I think it would be better to try to cause some accident where Lex would fall somewhere or something, cut himself several times in the process as he fell, the protagonist could already be prepared and use the sword to make an almost insignificant cut on Lex when he fell and that it would be enough to guarantee his death without leaving any traces. Of course, it would be even better if he managed to get Lex's attention by placing a 'magic' item or something like that in his field of vision that would make him interested, making him go investigate himself. Once there, he would end up falling into the previously prepared trap, falling and cutting himself many times on the teachers. After that, he would also be dying of poison after the small cut from the cursed sword and everything would be a simple accident with a 'poisoned magical' item. Even better if the body burns, the ashes are thrown into the dimensional storage space, Lex's soul is also trapped in a 'box' that could contain souls that the protagonist got from the dimensional store, and the 'box' is thrown too in storage space forever. And all this with the protagonist having ways to prove that he never left the house. It also possessed ways in which the 'cause and effect' of the incident could not connect to it. It would be even better if he could obscure from his memories that he knew Lex hired someone to kill him and that he intended to kill him too. And all this so that he himself ended up being surprised and shocked by Lex's death.
