overFantasies
The author, with all the achievements of Superman, you underestimate him, but overfap the Doomsday and the Martian hunter. Doomsday adapts if he takes damage and then not much, and reactive adaptation works only after death, he adapts to what killed him, and he is vulnerable to kryptonite.
you constantly claim that Doomsday won, I don't remember mentioning this anywhere, where do you get the information from? both characters "died" in this comic. Or in your opinion, if Doomsday has the ability of immortality written in laura and Superman explained it only later, then it's not fair and Doomsday won, of course the logic is interesting, but I understand you, I also really like Doomsday's character after all, he is equal in strength to Superman, so he is also immortal and can adapt to I really like Superman more, because again, he is certainly "not immortal") if you know what I mean, but at the same time he has the same power and a bunch of other abilities, and still does not look like a version of Darkseid smoker.
Readtilltheybleed:Yes, Homelander is a rip-off of Superman as is Omni-man… or to be more specific it’s an homage to a classic icon. Even Goku (who is generally more powerful than any Superman within his age group) uses the same formula in his origin… but this is just a matter of progress. There’s a quote I’m probably about to butcher that goes something like, ‘Great men stand on the shoulders of giants’. Superman was a great success story from a marketing perspective and he’s a beloved icon without a doubt. That said… there are versions of Superman where he’s not much stronger than Captain America whereas there are versions where he literally sneezes and a galaxy disappears. If you want to see definitive proof that Doomsday is superior to Superman you’re going to have to read between the lines, but… if we go by the new canon where they have rebalanced the story in Superman’s favor there is still a very significant little detail that shows that (at least from a biological perspective) Doomsday is a superior entity. According to the movie’s🤨 be it Lex Luther or Darkseid, it is possible to transform Superman, and in fact all kryptonians, into the Doomsday monster. This is obviously a very different situation from Doomsday’s true origin where an evil kryptonian scientist conducted the cruelest experiments imaginable in order to create him… but the fact that kryptonians that undergo the procedure are much more threatening is already significant proof but the fact that the genetic material is dominant, replacing the kryptonians inferior DNA🤔 it’s like some natural selection type of confirmation to his superiority.image
