please, don't. You can make him study for curse breaker, charms master, profesional duelist, magizoologist, spellcrafter or just study about wards or healing. There is a lot of things to explore.

To be honest it would be more interesting if he was in a dueling tournament as that would allow him to utilize what he learned in controlled combat and also allow him to go out of the country and gain fame.
No offense, but you seem like a pretty lazy author. You could have easily looked up the rules for quidditch, but decided to just write it and then apologize if it was wrong. Really doesnt give a good impression
