he should spread his bank worldwide, that was he will always have influence, it can be his info network, even if one is destroyed they in a certain country they can rebuild it after, it can be the oldest bank in the world.

I think the main character should train more loyal soldiers and make a blood wine just for vampires

Why not just lend money out and thus throw gold back into the Roman society only to recover it with interest or just take the persons belongings and lands if they can’t repay you??
