Now I’m very curious of what could the wish have been.

Given how Nick interacts during his job or fights I thought he would be more mature, but it seems like we are having another Shang.

Man, I have no clue where is this going. Is Nick turning to Shawn... Or is this really a different story?

How can a person be so talented creating a world that is interesting and fun to read. With charismatic characters, horrible creatures and fantastic powers. Basically high quality writing. And at the same time create boring protagonists that disgust me so much. Seriously, how is this possible? First Shang, now Nick... I'm stuck between stopping reading so I don't waste time, and continuing reading to satisfy my curiosity. It's torture.

And he I thought we’d get sociable main character but here we have the start of another Shang. But I’m here for the ride regardless. *Disappointed Sigh*

Hearing how everyone keeps comparing Nick to Shang makes me feel like I’m really missing out on his other story. Because I want nick to be a bit more ruthless and less naïve. And Shang sounds like a dream character!!

At the end of author's 2nd novel he sad that he wants to write a story different from SGITWOM IDK what you guys are yapping if you don't like it then stop reading but remember if the author made this unique , original and brilliant plot and world then he wouldn't just end it with the same old characters ...
