Isn’t MC is too passive? I am not sure he even understands when he is plotted against. Regarding his desire to not be a clan head - it’s simple actually, either you command, or follow orders. So far he is only following orders

This whole plot point just doesn’t make any kind of sense. The uchiha, a clan that is known to love its members dearly and would do anything for them, but you have the clan head actively trying to plot against and kill the genius of the clan because he thinks he’s a threat to his sons position? The reason this is stupid is simple. Shisui was also a great genius of the clan but wasn’t seen as a threat to itachi position as heir. The clan as a whole loved the fact that they had two geniuses but you seem set on antagonizing the mc from the clan. The uchiha regularly produces elite shinobi so it confuses me that the clan heads first thought is to kill mc for being a genius. I just don’t get it
