Nice chapter! Can't wait to see the "plan" of the head of the Uchiha crashing. The Mc has the talent of Itachi, whose is a genius is only rivaled by Minato, so him being on the front lines would only make the gap between him and Fugaku even bigger...Btw, do you already have a pairing in mind for him? I'm kinda hoping for Pakura, someone very underused and it can be justified that they will marry to cement the deal between Konoha and Suna at the end of the war...

There are a lot of holes in your story.Nothing that can't be fixed but yeah big plot holes.First, Hiruzen's hokage status is still shaky.The thing that started the first ninja war is the death of Hashirama and Madara. Tobirama became the next hokage but at the end of the 1st ninja wars, he was killed by the twin kumo ninjas. (Forgot their name, Ginkaku and Kinkaku?)That's why Hiruzen is an unproven hokage at the start of the 2nd ninja war. He only got he's authority when konoha won 2nd and the 3rd ninja war.The second was where is Kagami Uchiha? He is supposed to be the Uchiha clan leader. He is one of Tobirama's students and was his hope of changing the Uchiha clan since he was a lot like Shisui.Kagami Uchiha died in the 2nd ninja war which made Hiruzen and Danzo began their teacher's plan B. To slowly isolate the Uchiha Clan.The 3rd is the isolation of the Uchiha clan territory. The Uchiha clan territory was only moved after the Kyuubi attacked. Many infrastructures were destroyed, Hiruzen and Danzo then had an excuse to mistrust them while making excuses to move their district at the outskirts. (The Kyuubi was controlled by Obito's Sharingan and it was reflected in his eyes)Extra facts.Dan and Nawaki died near the end of the 2nd ninja wars.Sakumo Hatake was so strong that he became renowned in the 2nd ninja war as a hero while Tsunade became a heroine by healing the weaker ones who were poisoned.He was so op that the only thing the suna ninjas saw was a bright saber light before someone died.
