TheManUnderTheBed
Mark feels almost overpowered. Which has me worried because if he's already this strong how powerful was somebody like Thragg. It feels like you buff the Viltrumite while toning down the powers of the kryptonians a little bit. The league is acting way out of character, especially Batman and Superman. I know Batman is extreme but this feels extreme for even for him. I'm assuming Superman has been influenced by some type of evil force or something. That's the only way would he do would make sense. It seems you're setting up a villain turn from for Mark. I can see him possibly joining the Viltrumite empire because of what the league has done. Overall good chapter I'm interested to see what's going to happen next.
Yeah you're right that would knockout Superman, though I wouldn't compare Mark to doomday. A extremely paranoid Batman would do something like that, I do also think that would Batman being as intelligent as he is would think having one of the enemies own on their side would be better. Though with him being so paranoid he might not think of that. I'm interested to see what side Mark going to join.
TheManUnderTheBed:in the end he ended up underestimating Mark and so he ended up getting taken out like he did to Doomsday, I think if that move was capable of taking out him then it would be more than enough to knock out superman. Batman is under the constant paranoia that a Viltrumite might come to the planet to check on Nolan’s progress this has only increased as the years have gone by, so mark gaining his powers has definitely pushed him over the edge a bit.
🦠For the ‘good guys’ to be exposing a pregnant kara to kyptonite is more than a little uncalled for. If she had a miscarriage as a result of their actions they would have ended a friendship and created a supervillain. It wouldn’t matter what kind of reason they have for their actions, nothing could justify the killing of one’s child in the eyes of a mother.
