Hey author looking forward to seeing what Daniel first opponent will be because of challenger’s disadvantage I hope it’s someone that push Daniel to his very limits. I mean Daniel hasn’t meet anyone that has pushed him yet besides carol who he trains with. I mean someone who is trying to kill him If you don’t already have one maybe homelander from (the boy’s) universe to be Daniel first opponent just argument or improve homelander abilities and powers. I mean Daniel abilities and powers are some where around invincible(mark) in season 1 of the tv series of terms of abilities and powers if I’m not mistaken?

Fun thing I was thinking the same thing about homelander being the first opponent for Daniel to fight against. I mean currently Daniel strength level should be around invincible level strength of the 1 season. It would be interesting if the author improve or augment homelanders abilities and powers to somewhere about evil supreme from (Image comics) when he fought Omni man in crossover of a comic book Instead of giving homelander a x gene.

I absolutely see your point with how it feels like a plot hole but like you said considering the future enemies that Daniel is going to have to face both from Dc and marvel as well as his challengers disadvantage kick in it would foolish for him not to prepare himself to build a resistance/accustom himself to immense pain for the further threats ahead because Daniel is going need all the help he can get. It’s like a reflex of what would you do if someone punched you would flinch or punch right back I mean kryptonian gains her strength from the sun and will get stronger the more time they spend in the sun rays which is a bloody cheat. I believe it alright Daniel abuse this method to get stronger quicker.

Yes daniel could do it like you mentioned. Daniel could constantly destroy his body and grow stronger! It would also apply to Daniel viltrumite weakness with certain sound frequencies. If Daniel did what superman does and allow his super hearing to cover certain parts of the world and then you the core to heal the damage done by it. Daniel could use it to build a resistance to certain sound frequencies so it doesn’t hinder him or get exploited in combat in the future with villains or monster later on!

I absolutely agree with you viltrumite have so much potential we never get to see it. I mean viltrumite could use their smart atom In different ways. For instance, atoms in a muscle can ensure that the molecules behave normally even under extreme forces. Or atoms in the air can be forced to maintain their relative positions, thus acting like an impenetrable wall. Author question does Daniel core of life affect or in anyway help Daniel viltrumite smart atoms.? What I mean is say for instance that Daniel is in combat against a superior foe and is sustaining damage and Daniel is using the core to heal himself. Are Daniel viltrumite smart atoms also kick in and helping Daniel by further increasing his strength,speed and durability as the fight continues on. Or is a hole separate all together?

True Daniel does have his viltrumite abilities that are great and come in handy and against opponents that aren’t as strong as him but what about further opponents or challenges that will come that could have more fighting experience then Daniel. And I see you point about author wanting to keep the story more realistic what I was thinking about is it possible for Daniel watch of martial arts and then copy them using his viltrumite brain like judo, Muay Thai, taekwondo and boxing to incorporate into his fighting style. Like mark did in the invincible tv show where he copied Omni man combo and used against that female viltrumite. With what I was talk about was when Daniel mentioned in chapter 6 (hero) (where He had only read that Invincible comics manual once. "I'll have to retrieve those memories later using the core. It was foolish of me to ignore such an important matter until now") when he mentioned about was the smart atoms that Viltrumites have. And to build a resistance or a counter the viltrumite weaknesses to certain sound frequencies and what other ways daniel can manipulate his smart atom to help him combat.

It seems like Emma forst has got her sights set on Allen will other female characters like storm/Ororo Munroe and T'Challa sister shuri

I hope in the next chapter we get to Daniel/Defiant in more hero action like stoping crime or fighting villain or a bio monster or something. Not a bad idea for Daniel to stay with Harley I mean with all the attention on smallville the government and shield are more then likely to find out about Daniel superhero identity and about Carol as well. Maybe Daniel can use this time to refine and to train himself by learn more new martial arts like Judo or Muay Thai or take this for him to gaining more knowledge in different fields like in science or even see how different daniel viltrumite biology is. Or better yet use this time to collect his fragments of his memories of Invincible and what he can remember of Viltrumites and of the DC/Marvel characters of this world that he is in. P.s I hope when Daniel recovers some of his memories his able to recall anime’s or manga that his watch or read in the past.I want to know if comic book logic would apply to learning or recalling martial arts like Baki, kengan ashura, one punch and Fist of the North Star. If Daniel could using his viltrumite memory to break down and incorporate the verse martial arts of different anime or manga characters fighting styles and make them into his own. In my opinion I hope Daniel learns either bang or garou water stream rock smashing fist first or Baki and yujiro hamma fight style first
