your naming sense author is quite annoying, I know someone pointed out that it is not a Kryptonian name but superman's mother has a name called Lara Lor-Van not Laura.

Was that wise? He comes off as an impertinent troublemaker rather than a wise and reliable figure… if he’s not looking for an alliance I see no need to stir up the hornets nest. All his visit seemed to do is startle Jor-El into paranoia and making Varion out to be a potential hindrance if not an all out adversary.

This was a very stupid act on the MC's part, he just alerted Jor-el unnecessarily, when he could have remained silent and attacked at the moment they least expected it.
