It’s great, keep it coming 🥹 I’m not all that versed in the HP mythos, but a lot of the questions I have are being answered in interesting ways… of course these questions have been answered by others before but it’s always nice to see things from a new perspective.👍 Protagonist’s personality is much better than I previously thought it would be. And after Snape's attempt to apologize, they probably avoided each other. I suspect that, even though James did occasionally hex Snape after this turning point, he probably didn't bully him as much as he had prior. I don't buy James’ excuse that he bullied Snape because he “existed”: I think it had more to do with rivalry for Lily's attention. When Snape was no longer a threat to James, he probably got bullied a lot less by him, and certainly never by Lily.Small comfort, I'm sure. If you stop and think about the misery that characterized Snape's life, you can forgive him for all his unpleasantness towards Harry and others.Those who are the most hostile towards others often are those who live with the most pain.
