Well this has been a good run I actually feel really bad for the author. It was all going well but one wrong miscalculation and the house of cards fell. At the end of the day I’m sure author knew the risk and took it. And well the results can be seen. I honestly don’t understand being morally upright doesn’t sap away your iq right. Is the mc going to join forces with the revolutionary. After defeating her what happens next. Fortify the empire as outside forces now see a weakness left behind by asdeaths death. Anyway thanks for the chap hope you continue.
kinda stupid to delay Esdeath for those reasons tbh the empire doesnt get attacked because of her reputation n you antagonizing your relationship with her would make it worse specially if she dies the other generals reputations are not as potent as hers and also this isnt Earth there is no such thing as war crimes so that logic shoukd go out his head
Well, author I think your bet went very wrong considering the fact that Esdeath is basically a nuclear weapon getting rid of this weapon is stupid, won't the revolutionary army help you after all who finances them? obviously foreign countries that want the cake called empire, morality is useless in a world full of murderers and clans of murderers, if it were this way the parents of the mc would be alive, seriously you don't see the USA getting rid of its nuclear weapons for the moral ? That's ridiculous, without further ado it was good to read it up to here thanks author
frankly this is probably your worst chapter since the reason that the mc uses to get rid of esdeath is really bad and even the decision to part ways with her is dangerous (it's like a country that wants to destroy its nucl*ar b*mb because this thing has a bad reputation). if you want to control esdeath without the Mc entering a romantic relationship with her, it's simple (the Mc must control tatsumi). well I'll see the next chapter if it's not correct I may have to give up Sorry
Bro, deal with Esdeath because of the public opinion? Is if a non-supernatural world I would think is okay, after all the image and politic is very important. But you are in a world where 1 man-army exist, where you could blow-up entire mountains in a second with Shikouteizer, or summon the dead with a katana. Where a powerful beast could destroy an entire nation. Is a world where actual power (not the illusion of money) exist. You have the strongest human in the world in your side, who can freeze an entire land and even stop time. But you want to be her enemy because of the image of the empire? That she is violent? Man, even in our world the church just burned people alive daily and everybody still worships them.
This was...A BAD chapter, ngl. Esdeath is the single reason as to why the revolutionary army didn't invade the empire. Doesn't he remember that these are the same people that executed a CHILD (his own other version)?! The emperor's crime in canon was simply being naive and those guys executed him for it. The fact that he is thinking of throwing away his most powerful weapon against the same people that want to kill him is insane to me...
Upon delving into this chapter, I found myself increasingly skeptical about the author's capacity to grasp and assimilate information effectively. The author's exaggerated expectations and lofty aspirations presented within these pages were both surprising and somewhat concerning. It has become clear to me that this is the juncture where I must bid farewell. While this particular work managed to partially meet some of my initial expectations, I must admit that my overall appreciation remains somewhat limited.
so let me think, does the author really lower the supply of his most combat-ready army? and thinks that pushing the strongest general (and possibly a very experienced one, because this army is really fighting) to mutiny is a good idea? Is the author really dumb? Empires are built not on goodness and friendship, but on a strong army and expansion and economy that can provide an army and people. there are a lot of states around the Empire that will tear it to pieces and refuse an experienced general because he does his job too well and they are afraid of him .... stupid.
