Well, I tried, not for me, I'm out. Synopsis not really good when the story is nothing like it, when the novel name is nothing like it. Those are there to build expectations, to tell the reader this is something you would want to read or not, when they are nothing alike those that chose to read the novel with those expectations?.... So Kaiju just for Lung? Seems like a bad choice for a novel. Also, since its obvious everything bad that can happen will happen, to the MC only + he is stupid when plot requires it.... meh. I heard it all before: it will change, its coming later... in 20-50 chapters? 100% of the readers that try, will try the first chapter, not chapter 50 or later.
This is true? Is such a stupid recruitment even possible? So a kid stands up for their gangs area and rather than try the soft sell they jump straight to blackmail with murder? I get that this is a grimdurp setting but that's got to be one of the dumbest recruitment pitches out there. Like his boss would have taken some fingers from the brat that forced that situation kind of screw up.
