It's great writing .It shows how human the MC is and how petty he can be. He has his own pride as a human who had survived many hurdles and I respect his descision and mindset.

There seems to be a mistake in the chapter. You put his int at 847 but it obviously zero if he not going to use potions against Riser. Bet he still going to use Mana and health potions anyway he literally never won a single major fight on his own without them. Also this is stupid cause he not using his undead anyway so why the nerf.
