Comments of chapter undefined of Ascending To Infinity

I wonder if the mc is just deliberately ignoring the fact that he is a stranger to the original owner's dad and it's weird how the dad doesn't notice his changed behavior... did they not spend much time with each other or is the original owner is just that forgettable?
