Mc grew way to sheltered and sounds super naive. I mean first thing any reasonable person would do after going to dc is stay 1000miles away from gotham. Next is maybe go to another country or city with little to no criminals(ik it impossible but a city with not many meta humans and heroes). This would be the rough plan until he is strong enough to take on one member of the league. Also he can steal from criminals. Maybe when he is stable enough he can return the money 🤷🏻 I feel that a sick dying person would try to enjoy life if given 2nd chance and not waste it in a hellhole.

This story has I lot of potential and I want to see it I like how you portrayed the Mc as naive as he has spent the entirety of his last life in a hospital with only his iPad to keep him company as his parents had to constantly work to afford his treatment so if he went to dc and already knew how the world works from a person with a ‘normal’ childhood it would be unrealistic and make this stories only saving grace the powers which I found cool that you are actually using the talismans long comment short thanks for the chapter I hope you keep on writing

so why not just give him the powers of tailsman like jade or better yet the powers of shendu cause I am pretty sure someone will find out and want them for themselves not that I can blame them i would want them to

basically all of mc's powers are external items, so he has to find a way to protect these items and better, not let anyone under any circumstances discover that his powers come from talismans because they will obviously try to steal them. as basically the user gains the powers of the talisman simply by being in contact with them, I would find a way to make them all hidden but still in contact with me, such as: gluing them to the body in some non-visible and covered part, or surgically implanting them inside my body. I think my biggest fear would be them being stolen. a doubt that I was is: Are the talismans conceptual? and become stronger together? example 1 - The rabbit talisman, It says that it gives the user super speed. But is this super speed just movement? or is it all? like a dc speedster? 2- overlapping: levitating and super volition gives the ability to fly. does telekinesis have a weight limit, would using the talisman of strength together increase that limit? And what about balance? Would it improve control? I'm pretty sure that Selina will steal some talisman from the MC.
