DC only has Christian bale trilogy and animated movies that are good. I recommend doing MARVEL as the main project, while DC as a side project. Also produce some series for fun like John wick. You can do Titanic in 1997, just make him famous enough till then.

Option 3 rounds interesting.

Why not both superhero universes? There’s no reason he can’t film The Dark Knight Trilogy and then go on to film Iron Man, The Avengers, etc. If he’s successful enough and get want him as director, they’ll move the release dates to work around his schedule. Sadly, if he wants to make big money, he will have to rely on big budget films, but there’s no reason he can’t crank out art films as well. Look at Christopher Nolan’s career. Memento, Inception, etc. actually, that’s a good opportunity: you should have him write Memento and direct it.

DC for sure. With a Director who knows what to do, he could turn DCU into this worlds MCU, but leave out all their mistakes. DC has a ton of potential, even more than Marvel, but the Directors and studios screwed it up so badly it's actually kind of sad.

Go for the Spy Universe as it will be great to see how these movies come together.

obviously option 3, Marvel Cinematic is not suitable in the 90s because of technological limitations, option 1 don't even think about it unless you make animations and not films

Option 3 sounds very interesting, but I don't think you should do it the same as mcu. Rather, make it subtle that the movies exist in the same world, and a big collaboration and character interactions should be done differently than the avengers/justice league. It doesn't make sense for them do do that, especially since most of the characters are lone wolves
