This is the sin of weakness (do not be a weak person because the wizarding world does not have mercy on weak and unambitious people). You must be strong and ambitious, regardless of your type of ambition. I personally will not pity or feel sad for Neville Longbottom because as a pure-blooded wizard he should know that the wizarding world is a dangerous place that does not welcome weak people with weak ambitions. I only pity Hermione Granger when she entered the wizarding world. She thinks it is a magical world. It is nice that she does not know that it is a terrifying and mysterious world, and this is the sin of being an overly lenient and positive person
It's really weird how Lily is painted as both an evil sociopath and a tragic heroine waging a secret war against an "evil" organization. I would have almost believed her little speech which even manages to clear her of the massacre at Godric Hollow and what happened to Sirius if it wasn't for one small detail... she still killed James in cold blood.
Although I agree with Harry that it will probably be impossible to have a true mother and son relationship with Lily, it would be nice to have some kind of relationship with each other, as long as she doesnât turn out to be, people or something lol. Anyway, thanks for another very fun and entertaining chapter.
