Harry needs to have a long chat with Neville about his lack of critical thinking. Neville constantly falls for Dumbledore's machinations. He fell for Riddle's manipulations after talking to him for just a few minutes. He similarly fell for Sirius Black's act again after just a few minutes. Neville is so quick to create enemies out of allies when listening to his real enemies and following their plans.

man you do too much cliffhangers, literally every chapter ends with a cliffhanger it's gets annoying.
