Agent_047
If the system deems those changes as crucial, then this may be a mistake that could lock off his path to some further upgrades. On the other hand, it could be a test, like the system chose him for a reason and by choosing to return to his original personality instead of the neutral one that will make things easier he will get hidden mission rewards or something to give him points to unlock either tech or more runic stuff.
Thanks for the chapters. I am concerned about the decision to change system parameters as my understanding of the system was to develop his growth for a predetermined outcome. Even though it is undoing his mental changes, then would this limit his possibilities? He needs an element of ruthlessness to achieve certain goals and this feels like a step backwards? Just my thoughts.
This makes me question whether I will continue to read the series. I certainly won't be buying privilege for a couple of months. He got this way because of what has happened to him so far. He is going against countries. If he suddenly goes soft he would lose what he has built, and possibly his entire family too. If he won't change at all from this you caused me to lose trust in the series and author, by forcing in 2 pointless chapters that cost money. Which could lead to a trend of greed. It also feels like the author lacks conviction for what they write.
