And this is why 10-year time skips are a narratively bad idea if anything important happened in those 10 years. Now we've already seen the results of those memories so it's not that interesting and doesn't set up for the blades existence. Instead of skipping 10 years and jumping back 5 you could have just skipped 5 and gone from here then skipped another 5 if necessary but instead, the timeline is all jumbled for little reason besides for the mc to show off yet again.
