I don’t know why he would test this potentially extremely valuable resource in a way doesn’t make him even a little bit stronger. If it were me, I’d have tested how much 5 edit points can improve the armor he got. Even if it’s only enough to improve its defense from 90% to like 90.001% it’s still an improvement.

So basically, the edit pen is limitless, but is held back by what he's editing. For example, turning a piece of paper into a divine sword would be unimaginable number of edit points. While if the weapon was already extremely powerful sword, turning it into a divine sword would cost less?
