Hmm... I really hope mc is careful with religion. Only solution is either to remove church from state apparatus, or maybe bit easier option of also becoming pope/head of the church. Otherwise they will just hold too much leverage on the ruler and can easily thrust his government into chaos. Separation of church and state would ofc be ideal as text of religion would no doubt conflict with laws of the state at some point.
I hate when authors massacre civilians for no reason, I sincerely considered giving you 1 star just for this chapter and the following ones, where the massacres of innocents abound.I won't do it simply out of respect for the rest of the story, although it will influence my final review. There are many ways to handle the situation in Essos, I would understand if they tortured all the politicians in those cities, but the massacre of civilians is unacceptable, this already seems like a Chinese novel. I think you should know the minimum of history, so it is strange that the scarce population of the world of GOT decrease even more, here it seems that you forget that you are also a civilian, therefore I would expect a little more empathy from you, but it seems that it will not be so
