Am I the only one who noticed that the names Varis and Laris are similar? Not only names, because both of these people are mysterious and have their own unknown interests, have a network of spies, are disabled, albeit to varying degrees, have unconventional tastes, etc. What if Varys is the reincarnation of Laris Strong who, having sacrificed his father and brother, performed a magical rite that gave him the opportunity to be reborn.
Well, if MC's FL is an OC, you could use Saera Targaryan as a background. She was alive during the Dance of Dragons. Just change a few things and keep a few things the same, like her fleeing to Essos. But instead of fleeing to Volantis, it could be another city she flees to and manages to marry a very powerful man. That side, they have a child, a daughter, who has full Targaryan features. Saera is said to be incredibly beautiful and if you look at her art, I'd say she's one of the most beautiful Targaryans. Even if all Targs are beautiful, she's definitely top tier. (so her daughter would inherit her mother's beauty. Have a more agreeable/powerful background so the marriage is more acceptable) The MC hears about their presence from his merchant 'friends', consults his father about them, and ends up meeting them. Saera's daughter falls in love with MC and vis versa. They get together and you could make the OC have a similar personality to Diana Prince. Not her warrior ways, but you know her intelligent, compassionate, caring, competitive, supportive side. I took that straight from Google (but yeah, I mean more the Wonder Woman who was the 'caring and reasonable mother' to the Justice League, and a good supportive lover. An in-between Superman-Wonder Woman relationship and Batman-Wonder Woman, the best of both for MC and the OC.) She could be somewhat special(not a reincarnate), more of she could be bonded to two dragons, both Vermithor and Silverwing. (I know no Targaryan has done that before, but it would be cool, so let's roll with it.) Just an idea.
