First off, he shouldn’t have pushed Koby to be a marine admiral, a job shouldn’t define a person or their dream… he should’ve asked him why he wanted to be one in the first place, telling him to remember that reason and strive for the justice he believes in despite what position he may hold. Secondly… his ability shouldn’t have awakened yet, right? If his devil fruit hasn’t awakened I don’t think he is supposed to be capable of using it on external things. He can alter himself but not those around him.
