It seems that Otto has realized that Maegor is not going to be a pawn for the Greens, but a Player.

Yep. I suspected this would happen. He is now looked as a possible competitor for the throne even though he doesn’t really have a claim to it. There are sons in the greens and blacks who have higher claim than him. What placement does he actually have? 4th or 5th?

Good chapter but I must say that it makes no sense for Otto to burn the bridge with Maegor over this. Meagor doing what he did to dorne and the stepstones has no negative affect on the greens at all so unless Otto really has genuine concern that Maegor actually is a second coming of the cruel than this feels like a very forced conflict by the author

She already knew that she would live a longer and more satisfying life by the SI’s side than the tragic future she would end up having by marrying her brother Aegon. I genuinely hope Viserys continues to stand behind Maegor, and when the Civil War comes I hope Maegor sides with Viserys.
