Kinda lack-luster drama if i'm honest. There's no connection. No build up or peak. so it just feels flat. You need fleshed out characters if you want an impact in scenes like this. Thanks for the chapter though just criticism to help improve.

Bro they are Cyberpunk/edgerunners so they wouldn't cry over a speech about his mum and dad being dead since losing someone they hold close is pretty much the norm for them but they would sympathize with David since they pretty much knows how losing someone they love feel.David's speech was great tho just that the crews reaction wasn't believable.I feel like the crew would lower their guns and make up with him but still watch over him since what Lucy said is valid considering their line of work.Anyways thx for the chap

why is he so desperate to stay with this team? if someone pointed a gun at me out of nowhere and in the middle of an mission no less i would not even bother to stay. and correct me if i'm wrong but he doesn't even know the anime so why so attached ?

Rebecca being the only one to cry/tear up and the rest of the crew realising how much hes actually going through without them noticing because of his bright/energetic personality makes more sense to me. But still great chapter, specially Davids speach.

Loved the chapter put much needed drama and emotion into the story. Before while entertaining it felt a little like there would be no character development just another to perfect mc.

Yea I think that’s enough anime for me for awhile.I just finished binging the show and I was so immersed that I felt actual connections to them like I do with naruto,ichigo and kaneki over the time of their character development😅idc what anybody says this show is a masterpiece,I felt geniune loss and sadness especially at the end of the story. Yea Ik I was wayyy too immersed but I fell in love with the show in the first 2 minutes
