I don't understand the readers wanting the MC to be against Xiao Yan. According to you the MC has to stand against his family, just because his cousin "stole" a celestial flame an ownerless resource. Not to mention that the cloud sect is much weaker than the Xiao family, and if joined by the MC, Yao lao and Xiao yi Xian they should easily destroy this sect. Not to mention that the sect leader works for the hall of souls, the enemy of the MC. So the MC has to compensate the enemy weaker than him, for a "robbery" that wasn't a robbery? (Googie translate)

Hopefully acting like a bandit and running around intending to rob everyone has finally caught up to Xiao Yan. He wasn’t exactly a good person in the canon storyline, but in this… yikes lol. That being said Misty Cloud is also partially controlled and thereby supports Soul Hall, an even worse group of people.

in my opinion the sect does wrong by making this public accusation and should have done it in private the questions about the heavely flame and beside even if we know was Xiao yan that stole it, they don't have evidence and we know can exist multiple heavely flame of the same type. doing this is a bit against mc and Xiao clan honor. on another hand even if Xiao yan don't die i want him to suffer after all if one seek death, death eventually find them. So i don't want him to go away without consequence.

I wonder what's gonna happen with xiao yan and the heavenly flame.. Will mc take this flame or nah? I really curious if someone know if he does or not
