I think the reason people are disliking this even though you mentioned a lot that her love is true, is because she exposed her identity a little too late, although she was controlled that didn't stop her from revealing her secrets to the mc before all this took place, if she did it would have at least make readers have a thought that there might be something else at play here like when readers questioned mindstorm being out of character, basically not enough hint was given to create some sort of "what if" scenerio in readers mind which will make them although reluctant accept this scenerio where she betrayed the mc due to mind control so because it escalated too quick with a fast impression of "betrayal" from her, it left a very bad opinion of her to readers, which made it difficult to accept all this anyways that's just what I think, it could be that or it could be not, I am just guessing, you do you, I enjoyed the story so far except this relationship part where it felt somewhat rushed and too quick to process and judge a new character who got a bad "second?" impression with all that "betrayal" thingy, so where's the next chap
