I see. Since the MC is so incompetent that he could not find the temple for 5 days, the Plot Armor forces him by having an animal chase him, coincidentally running in the direction of the temple. Again, coincidentally leaving the river at the exact and precise location. Again. Since MC is an incompetent fool while suddenly going all emotional and angry filled buffoon(idk where those cold and calculated moments he had in his training), the Plor Armor did its job by having the demon appear infront of the MC and COINCIDENTALLY targeting the arm, where the watch or the demon's weakness, of all places. No, not just target but actually touching its very own weakness and dies. All in all, Plot Armor wins and the MC cannot do anything on his own. The words "Bad Writing" was screaming at my face while I was reading the chapter.
I don't get where this masochistic mentality came from. Why everyone is adamant on a weak MC, so much so that they'll nerf the power-ups to human level in a world where Gods are having field day at every turn. If anyone knows marvel, it's OP people left right and centre. But no! We want weak MC. The story wouldn't be 'Fun' if the MC isn't weak af. Yeah no. In a world like this when you have future knowledge, either you become super OP yourself or pray to the heavens that the super power don't notice you while going the full normal civillian route. But that's just being sitting duck until someone from above smites you. The one thing I've learnt from Marvel is that you're never 'too OP'. There's something always above you. Anyways that's my rant. And all of the above statements are based on my own opinion. I'm sorry author for the rant and just so you know you're writing a good story, just not something I want to see.
