Seb is thinking about all the things he can do to make her happy again and bring her smile back. He probably also feels a little unworthy of her at the moment and figured she would react better waking up to Snow beside her rather than himself. I think he was worried about how her feelings may have changed, but that seems to be cleared up by her display of possessiveness about showing his half naked self. That gesture let him know she still considers him hers so he happily kissed her. Now he needs to sit down and tell her ALL about himself and what's going on so that she can catch up properly.
