No, he’s not. It was self defense. And child defense! How could he think Yating would hate him when he saved him? Poor man. And to think fear of this moment twisted his communication with his son whom he went to such lengths to protect…
Lucas really gave her such a gift. It’s sad that Miley’s parents were too wrapped up in their grief to see Amy clearly, and it’s good that he was able to help mend that rift. He really is such a kind person. And this slower path through friendship to lovers really suits their situation. I can see Miley’s parents taking up her matchmaking torch lol
This chapter is for the wrong story :)
Yating is more like him than I’d realized. He was such an open and loving man before. Oh the irony of him talking to her about communication…Now I’m wondering if he killed her or if she committed suicide. PPD is a serious disease, and usually a husband should help her, but with everything else, I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t. Does she have family who can support her? I’m guessing not based on the outcome. If she’s harming the baby, she probably needs inpatient care, right? At the very least, she can’t be near him anymore…
Only 3? That math isn’t mathing…
I kind of expected the reveal that he wasn’t Yating’s biological father, but an affair with a coworker just seems so mundane. I don’t get it. Was she secretly the gold digger his father warned him about? That’s disappointing but does explain his current paranoia. When she was glazed over I thought maybe she had PPD or something, but strangling him just looks like attempted murder. Was she making him sick too? And is he really not Yating’s dad - like did they confirm with a dna test? After being betrayed by the person he loved and gave up everything for, it’s extra sad that his second wife was such a despicable person.
Yay!!!! She did it!!!
Normally I wouldn’t say anything but since there’s time before the bulk of readers saw it, I figured you’d want to know :)

Say no!!
I call bs on that one. Seeing your daughter in a loving relationship with a good person should be a blessing, not a cause for resentment. He’s gaining a son, not losing a daughter.
Yes it is! I’ve been curious about this for over a year now!!
Wow, a real heart attack! Not just a panic attack?? He really got himself worked up over this. Poor guy. I hope they can talk and move past this together
She is just pure sunshine. I love her so much!!
