What's the point of this being an isekai story if everything happens the same way? You just replaced golu with Gohan. You don't add the wisdom of someone from our earth though no DragonBall fan would celebrate victory until they saw a corpse. Also, you don't get smoke inside spaceships from ki blasts..there is no dirt to cause that.

I kind of feel like that goku has been pretty much a support and nothing more even piccolo had more character dev and even raditz
