I don't have much hope for character development after reading the first two chapters, which had numerous plot holes. Even talented writers struggle to achieve substantial character growth, so this author is unlikely to succeed. It might be better to have the character undergo a personality change after death.

well it just seems like the cult of light wanted to kill off anything that could have equal power to it and that is why they killed off all those of the dark/death element. What a bunch of evil trash cultists.
