This chapter....is so good but bad at the same time. 😩 We get to see the Moriarty family how blood thirsty they are about the mermaids. Eve is in a terrible danger, though maybe Vincent will protect her once he falls in love and know truly who she is... Is possible the merchant guy who escape or disappeared is Mr.Ambrose? 🧐 Marceline, you are such a white lotus. 🙄 Thank you for the update, Ashi! 💎

I am not totally convinced of anything, yet. I feel that Marcelina leaves her options open, so she can get what she needs from whomever she needs it from. Otherwise, she would have shared the damage Eve did to the door at first chance. She is storing that info for future reference. I am also curious about Uncle Charles gift. I think she purposely gifted it and knew how he would react…but what was her reason? 🤔 I hope nobody makes her cry at Moriarty mansion! 😬😬

This family is gods-damned greedy, and thirsty. They should for goodness' sake never come to know of Eve's identity. Not with Charles or anyone here. Marceline showing her true colours almost instantly. Vincent must really be sick of dealing with such a messed up family~ Including the sweet girl, Allie.

This chapter has revealed to us how hungry this family is for mermaid blood and this leaves us to understand how unsafe it is for Eve here if she's not careful. They're all obsessed with the thought of feeding on Eve's kind and I'm sure they wouldn't bat an eye before they killed one for their selfish needs alone. Marceline seems like the type who leave their options open. They go with the flow and act basing on what they want. I wonder why she gave Charles that quill really. She seems not to like him much also. But she's got a fair relationship with her stepmother.

ohhhhhhhh here I thought this marceline to be someone gentle but but no she is another twisted person I hope for Eve to be alright with all these sharks turning around her and wanting all of her and here Vincent is throwing her in the middle of it

Seems like vincent and Marceline relationship is poor. but instead of siding with step mom she should have sided with her brother, unless she has her own ulterior motives. well i can't trust her, so far she has been nothing but two faced.

Vincent reminds me of Damien. I’m still curious to know why he hired Eve. Did he remember her? Did he know she was a mermaid when he first saw her? I have so many questions already! Moriarty’s 😐 I wish I could cut off their nose (Vincent and ally being the exception) , for now Eve has a curious yet clumsy nature which means we see a lot of danger and not just because she is half mermaid-half human? I’m curious to see what comes next…

knowing how silly naivety and clumsiness eve can be, I pray for her to never be wounded in their mansions so that they will sniff her blood and discover who she really is. so we should all pray for her safety in the house in her teaching period.

Interesting dynamic with Vincent and Marceline. Maybe she is more loyal to her brother to keep her words about Eve quiet to Annalise? But either way, being a mermaid in that house is not a good position to be in

Oh dear Vincent I do like you quite a bit. As expected lady Marceline doesn't seem to be a good character, may be in the far or near future she might turn into a wise one for good. I'm worried about Eve knowing the thirst of this wicked family for the mermaid blood and pearls.

Eve got to be very careful not be Mr Moriarty's birthday gift to his wife. What's up with Charles and Marcellina? Hahaha.. I guessed she purposely gifted him that to get at him.

I hope Everything stays safe in the Moraity's house as their taste for mermaids blood is so high😐

Ugh. Each day Eve stays here it gets more and more dangerous. The list of her enemies grows and nonone even knows what she really is yet. I’m already so scared for her!! Vince can’t be around every moment of the day.
