Author, I understand what you did in the chapter, he tried to reconcile and saw the problem with having called attention in front of everyone. And I have to say, the MC was wrong to lower his head when he was right. And I will explain why. First the Red Arrow, insulted the entire team. Regardless of what Kid Flash, Robin, and Aqualad saw or felt for him, it doesn't change that he acted against the team, insulted the team, and picked a fight with them. As much as the MC can understand what was done for them. Compromising the way he did, tells the others it's okay for them to side with strangers against the team when the strangers are wrong, and in a team that's a recipe for disaster. Because if it gets to the point where it requires absolute trust, it won't be, after all if the person has ever supported strangers who were wrong against the entire team, he's put the personal side ahead of the group, and if he did it in a casual moment, she can do in a serious. And no one in their right mind will give full confidence to someone who has already shown that the people come ahead of the group. Second, Red Arrow took out anger, frustration, and unfulfilled desires on him and the entire team, the two didn't know each other, just like Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis didn't either, compromising because they defended him, implies that it's okay for him. do that, which can't be because not everyone on the team would support or allow it and if the matter really escalated things would get dangerous for everyone fast for the quarrel as they were in the current mission. Third, Robin, Aqualad and Kid Flash being able to corner him in a trio the way they do for a stranger when he is wrong means that even though the MC was on the team, the 3 put their personal side ahead of the group and wronged him when he had reason, it doesn't matter if he knows the Red Arrow or not, it doesn't matter if he caught his attention in front of the group or not, no matter what he went through outside the situation. What was questioned in this question was Red Arrow's attitude and it was based on Red Arrow's own actions if the MC had ammunition to use to judge him, it was because Red Arrow himself gave it and the 3 turned against him to defending Red Arrow's side the way they did just implies that they don't care what's right or wrong and don't care if the MC himself was harmed by it. They call their friend up front and the team they are part of second, which implies that if they have to choose between team and friend no matter the situation, they will choose Red Arrow, which can be good for the team. friendship, but for the team as a whole it means they have a leader and two members who can't be trusted. And even though it wasn't in an extreme situation, it's still a real situation, and it's still a fact that if they did it once, they can do it again. Fourth and final, it doesn't matter if the MC was wrong to call him out in front of everyone, Red Arrow was wrong in the whole situation, whether private or open, that doesn't change. It's not even a debate because he refused to join the team, he decided to take the case to the team, he went there and mistreated team members, he acted with superiority and arrogance against the team and he pulled the fight by calling Artemis first acting like a bully because he wanted to. No matter what he felt or his situation, the moment he started all the trouble for nothing Red Arrow was wrong, and he started SHow in front of everyone. If he started, he has to bear the consequences. I really understand his point of view, and if it was in a company or something, the MC's attitude would be wrong, but it's not a company, it's a group that works together against life-threatening situations. To be exact, the closest is the Police or the Army. If a policeman or a soldier gets into a situation like that and chooses his friend, instead of the squad or troop, he gets burned because no one risks his life, for unreliable peo
prolly the worst thing to happen in this fic almost as bad as him letting it be known that they are all just fiction characters in his world. speedy is a child that thinks he deserves something when hes owed nothing by no one. he needs to grow tf and realize that. hes not welcomed on the JS because he is widly immature and his dislpay of thinking and saying he is owed a spot in the JS proves it. the MC was 1000% correct in his initial assessment to bad the little girl has done what hes always done and went back on his choice
I was expecting ar least to comment in his behavior that it has nothing to do with the dream or showing the league something, that is just arrogance. Also it took Maelstrom 5 seconds(1 laugh and 1 snarky remark ) to Make Speedy lose his cool. Also that Speedy didn't even volunteer to participare in the missions even though 3 of his friends were here. He could have asked If he was able to complete any of the missions till now solo. And to say at least that he doesn't take back the fact that he's going to get himself Hurt If he keeps acting like that because it îs the thruth .
The league is only a team for big events anyway, having your own team was always going to happen, I mean look at each member and it's obvious that they each have their own thing when not together, so once the Young ones are ready to go they'd form their own mini groups. Aden is just slightly more mature and is ready for the future.
