I think it might be interesting if the novel explored such a plot point
This is the same situation I was talking about when Nux decided to give up his touch. This is nonsense, in his situation to limit himself in building strength. If he continued to gather women and quickly reached the divine stage, then no one would be able to threaten him like that in this world. Yes, there would always be someone stronger, but he could just stay on the continent and build relationships with his women, and turn their relationship into true love.
