I just thought it would be interesting to know the reasons behind Suyin's obsession with power. This, of course, would not justify her, but it is still interesting what forced her to become so ruthless. And I’m not very worried about Mu Lin because I know that our boy will not abandon her, and will somehow help her). And by the way, can Yang Wei start teaching her and the aged matriarch the art of magic? Still, they would have to study both ways later, but now this would allow them to become stronger without wasting time.
This is an incredibly dramatic moment. I like it. I hope she recovers soon and her mother gets what she deserves. What she did to her daughter is an absolutely terrible and undignified act. It was always interesting what people think about when they do such things, what it’s all for.
It could be shown that the first Artificial Gods were completely destroyed by the gods. And Naka had to increase the dose of Omnitarian blood in people’s bodies, which caused some consequences. It would even be possible to make it so that it was Nucky’s manipulations that ACCIDENTALLY led to the appearance of Loz due to the fact that he increased the dose of people too much and they simply lost control, which would lead to the destruction of everyone. And it could even be shown that Naka was so strong precisely because of such a drug, a conditional concentrate of primordial energy. And this could have fueled his obsession with revenge on the Gods, and as a result would have explained some strange decisions on his part. I apologize for all these speculations, which now no longer matter, I just want to come up with some kind of logical explanation for the gap in power, which, in my opinion, is still too large. Maybe you will like some of this nonsense of mine and use it later)
Okay, I understand. The gods just look absolutely pathetic in this situation. Perhaps this is my personal problem, but I preferred at least equal power between gods and people in this war. And now everything looks as if the Gods initially remained alive only because Naka did not want to kill them all at once. I would prefer that in this situation it was the gods who had a total advantage in power at all levels, and Naka would have to come up with all this just to have at least some chance against them. This would make the situation much more logical, and would not make Naku look like the villain from the 007 films who tried to get rid of the hero in some ridiculous way only for everything to go wrong and all their plans to collapse.
And I probably wouldn’t have anything against it if these artificial gods had some fatal flaws. For example, they would slowly die and go crazy due to the fact that their body and soul are simply not able to withstand the energy to which they forcibly gained access. Or it would be possible to create some kind of heavenly curse that they would receive for violating the natural course of things. And the only reason why White Flame survived to this day is that he somehow partially became a true god, but still not completely, and because of this, the curse still affected him, albeit slowly. It was because of this that he went crazy, and not because of Nucky's direct manipulations. Mortal soul and body simply do not have the right to touch universal laws.
And one more thing that worries me. Have you made the gods too weak? It seems absolutely stupid to me that Oberon, having only the body of a representative of the first race, can kill the strongest gods like beetles. Even gods deprived of some of their power should still be several times stronger than any Omnitrilian. After all, there were billions of these Omnitrillians in the first universe, and there were at most a couple of thousand gods, isn’t it logical in this case to make the Gods much stronger individually? And the lack of access to heaven does not matter, because these omnitriliants (my god, what a difficult name) were originally created as a weakened version of the Gods themselves. How can a weakened copy be stronger than the original? Not to mention that Oberon can only use the physical body of this race, without full access to energy. With artificial gods it’s even stranger, they don’t even have access to the original energy, how can they, in principle, fight the gods using only a small part of the energy from the corpse of the Omnitrillian, not to mention the fact that they are STRONGER than any single god. Where does this power come from? Maybe I didn’t understand something, but the gods now look like disabled people who are incapable of anything, who are beaten by absolutely everyone, and their strength can be surpassed by anyone.
While reading the last chapters I had a question. Could these creatures of Vilkr have a symbiotic relationship with the village’s warriors? Like in some cultivation novels, people make various pacts with spirits. The warriors would provide heavenly energy to these Vilkr creatures, and at the same time they would passively feed the warriors with Vilkr energy. And I understand that this will only work with intelligent Vilkr creatures, but it would be interesting if they developed some kind of mechanism that would allow such interaction, like the heart that Vilkr warriors have, but instead of being a repository of energy, it would act as a home for the vine. It would be possible to use the Vilkr energy storage facilities that the village warriors create for this. I would just be interested to see if Orion could conclude a similar contract with this Goddess Viklr who controls storm and lightning. This seems like a pretty logical and interesting development. Especially now, when there are no more vines, and it is not clear where to get the energy to develop the village’s warriors. But I understand that I am several chapters behind the story and that most likely everything has already ended, and Oberon killed her :(
