He seriously has no patience. He has seen all of the clues about the old man yet still cant piece together a bit of it.

Wow, this hast to be the most unlikable main character I've seen in a while. Also why tell us in every other sentence how smart he is instead of showing it to us?

Seeing characters have absolutely no patience is the most annoying thing ever..

Dumb mc. Old man has a class where he can live in luxury. While he may be speaking nonsense the mc still shouldn’t be treating him like someone crazy and interrupting him whenever he says anything. You’d think an intelligent person would try to link the stories and try seeing both side of things. No matter how ridiculous the stories are there’s always a what if side to everyone

Y'all forgetting your perspective is birds eye view. You can see everything and extrapolate what's going to happen. Plus you have experience of reading many other plots. For our MC that's not the case. Remember it's clearly stated initially he used to believe the old man but with time he came to think the old man was just pure crazy. He had no reason to believe his stories that couldn't be proved to be true. He also said the old man like to do experiments that almost blew the mc to pieces. So what makes you think the mc would truly think today was any different? Just because the old man looked a little serious? That's not enough to change his perception of the old man.

Interesting plot so far, the angels screw over the humans by promoting the useless ones, driving more useless idiots into power, and creating a downward spiral. That's fairly clever at least

There better be a in-lore explanation, cause "how can you be smart when your ancestors were dumb " is stupid and insulting and dare I say ret@rted

Why did the old man have this weird way of doing things? There is many ways to go about this and clearly explain things before throwing the orb, what's his point?

He wasn't in a rush. Why not finish with his explanations?
