On one hand you have the interesting part that is the simulation On the other hand you have the daily life that is filled with exaggerated bullshit Author thought that it's not not enough to have an MC that is just some random dude with a cheat He must be super pretty and have a fan club and be top of his school and have posts written about him in the school bulletin and also his father was murdered by a mysterious enemy and his mother is from an elite family but he doesn't know it and there is a contest of who will win his hand in marriage to inherit the family and and and . Just stop . It's enough.
It's a bad sign when you literally write that the side characters can't figure out what the MCs personality is. It's not a sign of him being soo complex and deep that you can't figure it out It's just that it's badly written His motives change eve chapter. And it's only after something has already happened that the author finds the need to explain why they did it
"life field energy " is a consecpt introduced in pretty much the first chapter It is absolutely useless . It serves no purpose . It is a metric of nothing . And yet every time he does any upgrade the author will write "his life field energy has increased by ..... , the standard for someone on the next level is ...... look how close this number is to that number . " Nobody cares
This entire time "standard weapons" were forged from iron and only iron They are using other metals, even alloys. That is a ranked weapon that hasn't had stars put in. A preform That has been described as a process that needs months
I don't like it . Simple as that . It is a very fine reincarnation - system - cultivation novel But it's focus is the supposed development of weapons But instead of saing "I have a problem ,let's invent a weapon the deals with it " it's more like " I have this weapon that nobody asked for . Find a use for it " It's a solution looking for a problem
It falls into the trope of building characters only for one arc and then never using them again. Female characters that would appear long term are forced to be abandoned cause they can't keep up And if you have read any cultivation novel you know that when he leaves the realm everyone becomes unimportant never to be seen again That happens in chapter 416.
I am sure it will get good "eventually" But I will not stick around till then It has introduced oh so many concepts and explained none of them. Everyone is a lord and they have "soldiers" which is different from the "mutated beasts" that he has There are levels 1-9 an grades that go from iron to platinum. And a higher grade creature is as strong as a lower grade one level higher.(gold 2 as strong as silver 3) but that is only heavily implied, not explicitly said And you can only have a creature of the same level as your territory but the grade doesn't matter. And you increase the level of your territory by upgrading the core. But you can expand it separately by occupying a resource point, which is different from simply looting it for resources. And the resource points exist in landmasses in a parallel dimension and you get teleported there with your territory. But you can also set up a camp that is semi permanent. And I am not sure if that exists in yet another parallel or what. And also what exactly you need to do to upgrade the core is never listed. And he immediately needs materials that others need at later levels And how a creature increases in level is yet not clear to me And there was a grade increase that wasn't really explained what exactly happened It's a mess It will all be answered eventually I'm fairly sure
If the great mystical realization is that he can make a mind power sword I will flip out. He has had a mind power whip and a mind power hammer for ages. The first thing he learned was instantiation or whatever it is called The fact that he can make mind power into shapes is not a new revelation
