A question has always intrigued me in the Star Wars universe. The galaxy is composed of a hundred quadrillion sentient beings and a billion star systems. How did the Republic, with its clone army numbering no more than 4 million units, manage to pacify a galaxy of such magnitude? I find the size of this army too low. With a billion inhabited star systems, if each system provided one person for an army, we would easily surpass the GAR army in no time.
Thanks for the chapter. Van should also not forget the members of the service corps deployed throughout the galaxy. They could also find their place among the new Je'daii Order, especially if they are on distant planets that have recently left the Republic. These corps consist of many apprentices abandoned by the Jedi, and being part of them usually means being considered a failure. It is from these corps that Palpatine will draw his Inquisitors. Having them join the Je'daii Order should not be a problem.
