For some reason I have this unshakable feeling that whatever reasons the family will give for keeping the protagonist out of the loop will be extremely unsatisfactory, maybe even completely idiotic.

why every member of family know everything but mc now nothing it is realy annoying i hope in future when he learn their secret he cut ties with them for playing with him all this times.

I remember Ancient Godly Martial Art or whatever.. Agm.. and the excuse his family had for abandoning him but have a little sister who they raise with love as a back up plan and he simply accepted it.

This is false family. when they keep you this far out of the loop and everyone else knows but they don't tell you thier love is a lie. They are pretending to live to manipulate.

Here, her son ha mild brain tumor who may not even survive till 50 if the system didn't interfare and she is still obeying her husband hiding the truth from their own kin...till now the story is amazing but this family plot is somehow ruining it

The dude is probably the heir to the family and they might threw him away because he couldn't cultivate or something. Truly a messed up family.

It's like the cultivation stories always have an issue in the family. Either they are too evil or too mysterious or too chummy.

God this family trope is ruining this novel. Otherwise it’s enjoyable but I just can’t invested in this novel knowing this trope exists. @author, I know it’s your “creative vision”… but I really don’t know what you are thinking. This trope never raises a novels quality. Even I shall seal the heavens which did this trope on of the best still would of been better in my opinion without it. Most other novels this trope uterly ruins. You have enough going with this system the MC got an expanding the world. Why the need to ruin it with this family trope?
