The reasoning is correct, if humans can feel emotions of others and understand their pain and act accordingly the world can be an infinitely better place.

As a human, I don't want people to control me like a puppet. But I do agree with his reasoning. You know what makes humans flawed? Emotions and desires. Imagine we humans don't have those things and just focus on reproducing and advancing the technology. The Earth won't be sick, there's no war, everything will be united. There would be no crime either because humans have lost their emotions.

No since becoming a hive mind will obliterate all our moral values, history etc and make us cease being humans. And also because there are things people just can't accept even if they do understand them.

i don't understand Anthony and his father think they can create a world with peace and free will but they are ones obstructing individuality because they will be ones to decide the future of humanity.they do everything possible to make sure they are ones in power.while they may talk about free will.but they have power to control us however they want.we can't do anything.
