Comments of chapter undefined of My Hollywood System

Disappointed, his company is failing/failed due to one of the guests at this party yet he was still hired to be a member of the wait staff? Yeah no, how does the big shot that hosted this party become a big shot if his plots are this basic and obvious? Hiring a former rival of your guest as a waiter and then that waitor stabs that guest, even without criminal charges you get sued into bankruptcy not just by the guest that was stabbed but by every influential person in that room. Not even mentioning how many of those people burn all connections with you and leave you out to dry when the vultures descend, no one is your friend in Hollywood. One mistake, one controversy and you go from the top of the food chain to an untouchable cancer. Congrats this plot arc is not just eye roll worthy it's also getting in the way of the actual interesting part of the story. Even the cliché betrayal plot event would have been better than throwing action scenes into a story that didn't have a matching theme. Like having a romcom suddenly switch to a war reporter story, just doesn't fit and you can feel the seems of the story unraveling with plot holes because of it.

This drama is so unnecessary

This whole unnecessary story arc is ruining this fic.

I knew this would happen, if he can hire bodyguards surely he can get a protective uniform underneath the suit, just doesn't make sense in my mind how he cant event think of that, this drama/attack wasn't well executed and not well thought, poor choice of how it should've gone down

disappointed with the system, when he needed it in an emergency because several lives were threatened the author deliberately made him unable to access it to buy Self defense skills. Honestly, this drama feels forced

Those guards weren't even watching who was approaching, it seems very forced.

Things he could have done instead of being stupid: 1) Phoned in an anonymous threat to the party that a murder would occur, causing the party to be cancelled. 2) Review all the staff and guests in advance via a security team to determine if anyone would have a grudge against you and your company. 3) Wear stab-proof armor under your clothing and give some to Ben as well. 4) Make a brief showing at the party for 30 minutes or so. Do a quick round, then make up an excuse that he had to leave and take Ben with him claiming he needs him to discuss an upcoming film project. 5) Bring Ben to a secluded corner of the property and have your security team surround you for the entire night, not letting anybody past your team without being patted down. Claim that you received an anonymous threat that someone was bringing a knife to kill you. 6) Tell your uncle you received an anonymous tip that someone would try to kill you and your uncle at the party if you went. Decide not to go.

He could have just put wrapped a phone book with duct tape under his suit. That would have stopped the knife. He literally knew 24 hours in advance there was going to be a stabbing. Not a shooting. A stabbing. And he doesn’t try to protect himself? Beyond dumb.

How long will this arc last i'm just skipping chapters everyday.

man will have a system and he didn't try to improve his physical body capabilities or learn a martial art because man life is most important. movies and stuff come later. i am pretty sure system could provide some good skill even though its a entertainment related system so this story part kinda become forced or unnecessary but anyway good work author❤

I think the comments are too exaggerated. Everyone knew that even in a scenario where you're warned, it might still go wrong even if you prepared countermeasures to prevent it. Maybe you'll succeed in avoiding the unfortunate fate, or maybe you'll end up just minimizing the damage dealt. It's just that there's always no guaranteed success and failure in life. In this case, Will prepared himself after the forewarning from the system. Some might say he failed, but looking deeply at the situation, he actually succeeded in preventing what would happen to his Uncle Ben. You might need to remember that this attack was not intended for Will, but for Benjamin. Remember, this is not some kind of action fanfic where the law of the jungle is the standard norm. It is a world that's parallel to ours, and as realistic as possible. Meaning, that plot armors are as irrelevant as a transparent paper.

it's been a while since i posted a comment. however, i love this novel and that's why i have to be honest. i don't care about what happened to will as it was bound to happen, he lowered his gaurd and forgot that people can get dirty to achieve there goals which is a mistake people make in the modern world. however, the way you did it was of such low quality that i was left speechless. while the novel is by no way perfect, it's still written in a good quality. i hope that you rewrite this later when you have the motivation to do so. this is just my feedback and no pressure my dear author when facing criticism. it only shows how much regard we have for you and your story.
